Greenway Bridge, City of Greenville

Ark Consulting Group executed the Safe Routes to Schools project along East Fifth Street in Greenville, NC, enhancing pedestrian and cyclist safety through strategic infrastructure improvements. Our team designed and oversaw the installation of a 100-foot prefabricated pedestrian bridge over Green Mill Run and constructed 900 linear feet of sidewalk from Beech Street to Green Springs Drive. The project included road widening between Beech Street and Cemetery Drive, with comprehensive services spanning boundary surveys, wetland delineations, geotechnical investigations, and No Rise/No Impact Certification. We managed all construction documentation and permitting processes for this NCDOT Safe Routes to Schools Grant initiative, creating a safer pathway for St. Peter's Catholic School students and community members.
